Typeform alternative
A Typeform alternative for when the answer matters as much as the question
Typeform solved something real: forms that people actually finish. This page is about the other half of that exchange - what the person receives once they have finished.
What Typeform is genuinely very good at
Typeform invented the one-question-at-a-time form and it is still the best-executed version of it. The interaction is calm, the typography is good, the logic jumps are easy to build, and completion rates on a Typeform beat completion rates on a wall of fields. That is a real product achievement, not a design flourish.
They have also built out well beyond forms: video questions, lead enrichment on the Growth plan, and integrations across most of the marketing stack. If your problem is that people abandon your forms, Typeform is a direct fix.
Where they actually differ
| Typeform | Leadzy | |
|---|---|---|
| What it is | A form and survey builder, one question per screen | A consultation lead magnet: the same one-question-at-a-time feel, then a page written for the person who answered |
| What the person gets back | An ending screen, optionally varied by logic you write in advance | A page composed from their answers and the business's own knowledge - not selected from pre-written variants |
| What you pay for | Responses collected per month - Basic $39 / 100, Plus $79 / 1,000, Business $129 / 10,000 | Consultations written - from $59 for 250 a month |
| At the limit | The form stops accepting new responses until the next period | Prepaid credit; at zero, inquiries still arrive with their answers and get a plainer page |
| Personalization | Recall answers into later questions and ending screens; branching you author | The whole page is written per person, so two different people get two genuinely different reads |
| Best used for | Surveys, research, applications, and lead capture at volume | Turning an inquiry into an understood, warm conversation |

Choose Typeform if
- You are running research or surveys, where the point is the aggregate rather than the individual reply.
- You need the response volume: 1,000 responses at $79 is a different economic shape from 250 written pages at $59.
- The form is the whole job - applications, signups, feedback - and nobody is expecting an answer back.
- You need their video questions, or their lead enrichment, or a specific integration they have and we do not.
Choose a consultation lead magnet if
- The completion is not the goal - the conversation afterwards is, and it currently starts cold.
- Your ending screen is doing work it cannot do: trying to feel personal with text you wrote once.
- You sell judgment, and a sample of that judgment is the most persuasive thing you own.
- You would rather have 250 people receive something real than 1,000 people receive a thank-you.
Questions people ask
- Is Typeform good for lead generation?
- Yes - the format genuinely lifts completion, which is why so many lead-capture flows use it. The limit is what happens at the end: an ending screen is written once, in advance, for everyone who reaches it.
- Can Typeform personalize the result?
- Within limits. You can recall someone's answers into later questions and into the ending screen, and branch to different endings with logic. Every one of those endings is text you wrote beforehand, so the personalization is as deep as the number of variants you were willing to write.
- Which is cheaper?
- Typeform, per response, at volume - $79 for 1,000 responses against $59 for 250 written consultations. They are priced for different jobs: one meters answers collected, the other meters pages written.
- Can I keep using Typeform for surveys?
- Yes, and many businesses should. Research and lead generation are different jobs; there is no reason one tool has to do both.
